01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
About this place
At Soul Bar George's, the pleasure is not just listening to the music but choosing what plays next. Visitors have described a jukebox where 100 yen buys a choice of 2 songs, making time spent browsing soul and R&B classics for a favourite part of the experience. One visitor chose “Let’s Stay Together” and recalled how the atmosphere shifted when it began to play.
Drinks include cocktails, beer, wine and spirits, suiting an evening of picking songs and lingering over a glass. One visitor ordered a Malibu and cola; another settled in with vodka and the music. There is a range to choose from, even if you have no particular brand in mind.
The bar has a retro jukebox, and there is a lounge on the 2 floor. Choose the setting to suit the evening, whether you want to focus on the music or settle in for a chat with friends. In Nishi-Azabu, it is a place to take your time over a chosen song and a drink.
